Community Involvement

Pan-Pacific Mechanical and the Community

Pan-Pacific is committed to being partners with the clients we work for and the communities we work in. From hands-on canned food drives, toy drives and volunteer hours to financial contributions to worthy local and national causes, Pan-Pacific has made a concerted effort to give back to those in need. Some of the causes we have supported over the years include:

This list is just a sampling of our recent charitable causes. Pan-Pacific takes pride in sponsoring local Little League teams, schools and family-oriented events as well as getting involved in charities important to our staff and to our clients.

In addition to our charitable work, we also strive to support the communities we work in by hiring local workers and supporting the local economy. On projects that require local or diverse hiring percentages, Pan-Pacific consistently exceeds the target goals.

In the Media

See Pan-Pacific’s President, Cindy McMackin, featured in this short video produced by the State Building and Construction Trades Council of California.

The prevailing wage has been a California law for more than 80 years. This production shows how paying prevailing wages supports our cities, counties, and the economy of our state by providing a trained and ready workforce that gets the job done right the first time. The video highlights the vastly different results of two library projects, in Gilroy and Palo Alto, where one paid the prevailing wage and the other didn’t.
