Pan-Pacific Hawaii recently partnered with Hensel Phelps and adopted the HUGS house facility on Oahu as one of our many outreach activities.

HUGS serves families with children up to the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness or disease.

The nonprofit organization provides comprehensive, long-term support to families, helping them on their journey of caring for a seriously ill child, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

The HUGS facility is a property that the state allows them utilize at a below market rent rate in exchange that they maintain the facility. As with most properties in Hawaii this one is in dire need of maintenance.

Pan-Pacific donated labor to replace the outdated window units with new split units creating comfort in the historical facility.
