ACE Mentoring hosted its third Trades Day of the year this past February at USC Village for over 200 students. Students got their hands dirty and spent time exploring some of the different trades that make up a typical construction site - everything from laying bricks to managing the BIM model in the construction office. Trades Day took place at USC's new village that remains under construction. The program intends to engage, excite, and enlighten students about Architecture, Construction, and Engineering. The activities and information provided were invaluable to these students as they learned about the different career opportunities within construction See some photos of Pan-Pacific's new Project Engineer, Scott McMurtrey, mentoring a group of students at the event. Each group of students went through a series of rotations at the event to get hands-on with several different demonstrations. The final ACE Mentoring Day will be held in March 2016.
