    Barstow Community Hospital

    Barstow, CA

PROJECT INFO

Barstow, CA raises a challenging engineering problem to design a system that performs well in extreme heat, as well as dust and wind. PanPacific designed a fuel oil system that could handle these conditions. We installed a 5,000 gallon above ground tank to supply a unique day tank system with temperature controls that auto-cycle fuel when temperatures read above 120 degrees. These day tanks support a generator and boiler system for a dual-fuel emergency setup. Through the specs, we were able to revise the system to accommodate these needs and ensure that the hospital would have reliable back-up power in the case of an emergency.

Pan-Pacific performed Fuel Oil work on the project installing jet fuel and oil stations to service the testing facility to Dyno Motors.
