PROJECT INFO

Just a block from the Downtown Berkeley BART station will be the site of the new, 82,000 square feet, Berkeley Art Museum.

Forward-looking and versatile, the new BAM/PFA will be a dynamic and engaging place to experience diverse art, film, performance, education programs, and to access an extensive collection of archives.

This project integrates a repurposed building with a dramatic new structure.

The new BMA/PFA opened in the summer of 2016, bringing more bold contemporary architecture into the heart of Berkeley.

The early phases of construction focused on interior work in the existing building, including salvaging reusable materials and preparing for demolition of the adjacent parking structure.

Pan-Pacific performed Fuel Oil work on the project installing an above ground belly tank with remote fill and monitoring capabilities.
